Following the October 5 Department Webinar: Quarterly Financial Report – what’s changed?, several changes to QFR Reporting were outlined and subsequent updates were made to the Care Minutes & 24/7 RN Responsibility Guide.
In accordance with the Department’s Reform Agenda, the Department is initiating individual Care Time Assessments (audits) of your reported care time data as of October 1st.
With ongoing consultation on the regulatory model for aged care, the Department of Health and Aged Care conducted a webinar on the design of the new model in May. As we progress towards the go-live date in July 2024, we are putting together a summary of the key concepts and insights from the consultation and documents.
On the 1st October 2023, care minute targets became mandatory and the care minutes associated with each AN-ACC class were adjusted.
