Permanent admissions up 18%, alongside growth in respite usage

Revenue

In September, the industry Average Daily Subsidy (ADS) slightly decreased by -$0.09, finishing at $271.57. Claiming activity for the month saw a decline of -0.79%, reaching 8.11%. The average age of AN-ACC claims over 12 months also dropped to 41.98%, marking a decrease of -1.75%.

Occupancy

Occupancy levels improved slightly to 88.85% in September. Additionally, new permanent admissions rose by 17.84%, supported by continued growth in respite bed usage.

Workforce management

Total direct care minutes decreased by -0.04% in September, reaching 203.03 minutes per resident per day. RN minutes also saw a slight decline of -0.22%, now at 42.21 minutes per resident per day.
