Last week, the Department of Health and Aged Care (the Department) conducted another webinar which gave an overview of how providers’ operational and financial data will be published on My Aged Care from February 2024 to increase transparency.

With the recent enforcement of mandated care minutes, we find ourselves in a precarious situation in the aged care sector. There’s a fine balance between maintaining occupancy and managing workforce costs efficiently, all while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Managing the balance in the AN-ACC world now requires three (3) key workflows: Forecast AN-ACC classes for pre-admission and current residents to manage care revenue; Establish consistent Roster Demand Template/s; Control and understand your data to then strategically request reclassifications.
